Although it’s become quite the trend these days, we really can’t say no to another beer garden opening up in New York City, especially one that serves Oysters!!

Tuesday night we welcomed the opening of Beekman Beer Garden Beach Club, the fresh face of what used to be City Taxi. The space encompasses all that could be fun for beer loving adults. With a 6000sqft sandy beach viewing on the Brooklyn Bridge and glow in the dark chairs, ping pong tables, pool tables and a vast variety of taps serving fresh brews, it is  a playground for grown ups.

What sets this one apart however, is their food menu. While most beer gardens focus on the typical beer companions, such as bratwurst and pretzels, this one has an entire raw bar section, which makes us very very happy. Oh and the oysters are good!!!

So put on your bathing suit, and head over to Beekman for some fun in the sun.
